As the digital era reigns on, the recent resurgence of tactile activities and traditional practices have become more valued in our everyday lives. Whilst our screens are congested with a constant stream of content, many of us are now tempted by a slower approach. In fact, it's often the union between artisanal craft and more contemporary skills that allow us to capture creativity so successfully.
As part of our ongoing film series exploring modern craft, we spoke to photographer Ollie Trenchard (@ollietrenchard) about what his practice means to him. 'The Art of Analogue Photography' takes us through Ollie's creative process, from the initial exploration of a space to the chemical development of the print.
"When you shoot analogue, you shoot a lot less. You really take your time to compose each shot, you're not just firing away, you're really thinking about every time you press the shutter."
