Umar is a chartered management accountant and holds an MBA from Manchester Business School. He has over 20 years in the real estate sector and previously spent two years in Dubai working for one of the largest real estate developers in the region and prior to that working at Land Securities heading up the London Property Finance team. Having joined Derwent London in February 2013, he is responsible for managing the property finance team and leading the department’s financial reporting.
